Dr. Amissah-Arthur is a dedicated Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist based in Ghana, specializing in the diagnosis and management of autoimmune diseases and musculoskeletal conditions. With a clinical focus on improving the quality of life for patients living with chronic pain, Dr. Amissah-Arthur brings extensive expertise in managing complex conditions such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Gout.
Dr. Amissah-Arthur is a Fellow of both the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians. She actively drives medical excellence and specialized care in Ghana, serving as the Medical Director of Nuffield Clinic, a specialist centre for musculoskeletal care, and as the Assistant Vice-President for Academic and Student Affairs at the Accra College of Medicine. Furthermore, she serves as the Vice President of the Rheumatology Society of Ghana, where she contributes to advancing rheumatology practice, education, research, and public awareness.

They are also passionate about health professions education and mentoring the next generation of medical students and residents, driving academic leadership and training excellence at the Accra College of Medicine.
